Sytje^3 Van Wicklen
(Gerrit^2, Jentie^1 JEPPES) was baptized 8 June 1695 in Flatbush, sponsored by (aunt and uncle) Jan and Grietye Kranckheyt. She was named for her paternal grandmother. She married (c. 1726) Joseph VAN CLEEF, son of Jan and Engeltje (Louwerens) VAN CLEEF. Joseph was bap. 25 Nov. 1683 in Brooklyn. Joseph was first married to Catharine Rapalye (b. 7 Feb 1678) and married second to Sytje  Sytje and Joseph moved around 1730 from Jamaica to New Jersey where records of the Freehold-Middletown Dutch Church show Sytie Van Wikkelen and Joseph Van Cleef among its members (29 August 1731).

Children: Catryna^4 VAN CLEEF was bap. 10 Sept 1727 (Jamaica, Queens), sponsored by Jan Van Wickelen and Catryna Van Leewe. Benyeman^4 VAN CLEEF was bap. 18 May 1729, married Eva _____  (b. abt 1733) and resided in Somerset Co., NJ. Johannes^4 VAN CLEEF was bap. 31 March 1731 in the Freehold-Middletown Dutch Church. Gerrit^4 VAN CLEEF was bap. 8 April 1733 in the Freehold-Middletown Dutch Church, married Wilmyntje MEYER (b. abt 1737) and resided in Orange County, NY.
